Why do I need to configure an API endpoint?
Yomi uses an OpenAI-compatible LLM API to generate summaries and audio scripts. You provide your own API endpoint and key in Settings. This keeps your data under your control.
What voices are available?
Yomi uses Microsoft Edge TTS, which supports a wide range of voices across multiple languages including English, Chinese, and Japanese.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device. Yomi has no servers and does not sync your data to any cloud service.
